Frequently asked questions

What is a credit and how many designs do I get?+

Credits pay for actions in the Studio. A design costs 2 credits, an edit or a top view 2 credits, a room from a floor plan 2 credits. 4K on plans that include it costs no credits. So 100 credits is about 50 designs.

Do credits expire?+

Purchased credits are valid for 180 days from the payment date.

What if a generation fails?+

If a generation breaks off or returns an error, the credits go back to your balance automatically. If you don't like a finished design, edit it with words or a brush — a new edit costs 2 credits.

Is this a subscription?+

No. Every plan is a one-time payment with no automatic renewal. When the credits run out, buy a plan again or top up.

Is there a watermark?+

Results on a free account carry a small genroom.io mark. After you buy any plan, the mark disappears from new and existing designs.

Can I buy more credits?+

Yes, after buying any plan: as many as you need, without changing plans.

Which payment methods do you accept?+

Visa, Mastercard and AMEX cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments go through a secure gateway; we don't store card details.
