I launched GenRoom in 2025 to solve a specific problem: people plan renovations but cannot visualize the result. Hiring an interior designer costs thousands of dollars, 3D programs require technical skills. Through experiments with neural networks, I discovered that modern AI models can generate realistic interior visualizations in seconds — and made it accessible to everyone.
How the Technology Works
GenRoom is powered by neural network models for image generation, trained on millions of real interior photographs. We tested dozens of AI models and selected the best ones for quality and stability.
Generation process:
- 1Upload photo — upload a room photo from your phone or computer
- 2Space analysis — the neural network identifies the layout: window and door positions, architectural features
- 3Style application — AI generates a new design while preserving the room geometry
- 4Result in 30 seconds — a photorealistic interior visualization in your chosen style
The system uses multiple AI providers with automatic failover: if one service is unavailable, generation is automatically performed through a backup. This ensures stable 24/7 operation.
